There is a longer clip of this but I can’t get it to upload but Ainsley’s new thing is to chase us and to get you to chase her. Its good with sound to hear her laugh
Ainsley that shoplifter!

I had lunch with my friend Chris today and afterwards decided to run into the mall to a children’s clothing store to grab some tights for one of Ainlsey’s outfits. Well, lo and behold they are having a sale so soon I am burying Ainsley in the stroller under piles of clothes! So, I put it all up on the counter, pay my bill and head to the car. Throw the bag in the car. Lift Ainsley from the stroller to discover that she is sitting on a pair of leggings I thought I paid for!!! I really looked around the parking lot waiting for the security guard to grab me! Now, moral dilemma…the leggings are there, she’s in the car… Well, I went back in, told them what I did and paid for them. They laughed. All ends well.
Ainsley in the toybox!

Obviously the best way to pick a toy is to climb right in there with them!
We really plan on keeping this up to date!

Yes, its been a while since we’ve written. Surprise, surprise, we find so little down time now that Ainsley is on the move. The little nut has been crawling for a couple of months and we think, no, we Fear she is very close to walking. Although, I think I’m ready for walking because, when she is on the ground crawling everything goes in her hand and then in her mouth. Our days with Bailey really did prepare us for parenthood.
She has such a fun personality developing right now. She is starting to mimic our sounds and movements. The other day at lunch she would throw her hands up and wait for us do the same. Up and down – went on for some time.
Speaking of mimicing sounds…I SWEAR she said her first word today! We stopped for coffee before we headed to work/daycare. I was getting her out of her seat and she saw Marty walk around the car. She smiled and when he came to the door she pointed and said “Daddy”. Marty is not yet convinced and thinks its just her obsession with the d sounds. I choose to believe otherwise!
