The first birthday approaches

Ainsley turns one this Wednesday.  How is that possible.  Marty and I talk often about what life was like a year ago, wondering when the baby would come, what in the world the delivery would be like!  Its amazing that we didn’t even know if it was a girl or boy at that point.

She is just a funny little person now.  If I’m doing laundry she loves to put stuff over her head and walk around, especially socks.  When she is walking and falls down she makes this Homer Simpson “duh” sound, gets up and gets going.  She loves to “wuff” at dogs.  We were out front this evening after we went for a walk.  She saw a couple walking up the road with their lab.  She starting saying “wuff, wuff” and laughing!  It was a riot.

We had a great day a couple of weeks ago at the apple orchard.  She was enthralled with the roosters.  She also tried to pick up a huge pumpkin.
